I'm not sure what's happening. You'd call up if this was a organization trouble, at that place would be other reports of information technology, but I can't say for sure.

  3. I am getting same error bulletin

  4. I didn't realize information technology earlier, but I guess it's a common message that has been occurring for a few years. Exercise a search at https://productforums.google.com/forum and sort by engagement.

https://productforums.google.com/for...ow%7Csort:engagement seems to exist the nearly recent thread.

  5. I but attempted a port-in from Sprint/Ringplus to GV, and received the same bulletin every bit others have today, which is:

"Number Porting is currently unavailable. Please check dorsum again tomorrow."

they say misery likes company, I hope you all experience ameliorate now; I practice at to the lowest degree. :-)

  6. same error message today.

  7. This is encouraging..... Glad I oasis't initiated the port from land line to mobile even so. Wouldn't be a good thing to be paying prepaid fees to forward a number while google fixes this.

How oftentimes does this issue happen?

  8. I wonder if these problems are non somehow related to the deluge of customers porting out of ringplus recently. There was a menstruation of perchance 2 weeks during which many customers moved their numbers elsewhere. No incertitude many to GV. This began around the beginning week of February 2017.

  9. Porting in is once again agile. I'm going to wait til monday to run across if folks are withal experiencing issues before bring the number in.

  10. The other day I reported here that my attempt to port from RingPlus over to GV was returning a message to me from GV that I should try again tomorrow, etc.

After another twenty-four hours of that, I ported to number over to LycaMobile, no bug- it is now working at Lyca.

When I go into GV and tell information technology to port in an existing mobile number it looks fine, just one little catch, I demand to put $ten (i wish I could put less) in order to become the "verification" phone call from GV; information technology should exist enough to provide the porting Pivot and account number one would call back. Hmmm.

Then at the cease of the day it is going to cost $30 to port the number out of RingPlus and get it to GV.

  11. The re-enabled ports around 5pm eastern time yesterday. I recollect had y'all waited, there wouldn't be a need to port to lyca first.

Can you post the exact timeline of your porting process?

I'yard just about ready to commit, but given gv'south porting issues over the concluding weekand a one-half, i'thou a bit apprehensive about starting the landline port to att gophone in case at that place are delays porting from gophone to gv.

  12. Myself, I accept NOT started the port process (Lyca to GV) every bit notwithstanding. This is for a friend and I need to let him know what has developed, peradventure he will (temporarily) to Lyca/t-Mobile, at least to endeavor the Lyca service and use upwardly the $10 worth of airtime which we are at present committed to add together to the SIM card if our final port of destination is going to be GV.

  13. On an aside, I noticed while contemplating just getting a fresh new GV number that information technology seems we can no longer search for phone numbers in GV every bit we could in the past.

Similar to Freedompop, a handful, or two if yous click show more numbers, pop up - I couldn't see any method of searching the bachelor number puddle.

  14. I see the $10 fee for att/tmo equally a sort of activation fee. Part of the fees involved in switching over to eventually save $$$

Use the legacy gv site to activate and obtain your GV numbers. You still get to cull from many. But did this the other day while I'm getting everything in order to move the pots line over. I used a very lengthy email accost (20 characters random letters/numbers), and an equally challenging password. For the fax line, credentials are far simpler.

  15. How do you port back to a carrier? Do you have to brand a pin? What address does one put? I didn't brand an address on the gmail account
